Accurate Rater Network is a BPI Affiliate Training Provider offering training and certification for Building Analysts and Envelope Specialists.

Accurate Rater Network is a RESNET Accredited Training Provider conducting home energy rater certification training.  We offer advanced rater training and business development classes for raters.

For Energy Auditors we offer diagnostic training sessions including hands-on combustion safety testing and training in identifying and working with HVAC systems, water heaters, insulation and other items that prove difficult for the energy specialist just starting out.

We have training sessions dedicated to specialized equipment use, maintenance and interpretation.  Our training curriculum gives you the flexibility to learn and practice a little at a time, or to jump right in and cover a wide range of material all in one session.

BPI - Building Performance Institute Certification Classes:

  BPI Building Analyst Training - Home energy diagnostics, combustion equipment safety training and preparation course for the BPI Building Analyst test.

  BPI Building Analyst Certification for HERS Rater Training - Shortened BPI course which removes training achieved in Basic HERS Rater Training.

  BPI Envelope Specialist Training - Prerequisite: BPI Building Analyst Certification. This is the next level training course and certification for individuals who have become BPI Building Analysts. Energy companies that wish to become accredited for upcoming programs, such as Home Star, are required to acquire advanced credentials for their field and staff personnel, such as the Envelope Specialist certification.

  BPI Field Test - Completion of BPI Building Analyst Field Evaluation Test.

RESNET - Residential Energy Services Network Certification Classes:

  RESNET Certified HERS Rater - You will learn building science, home energy diagnostics, computer software modeling of home energy use, and be prepared for the RESNET HERS Rater Exam. This course includes the two required supervised ratings.

  RESNET HERS Rater Certification Training for BPI Building Analysts - Because of your previous BPI Building Analysis training, this course does not cover building science fundamentals and assumes you know how to perform a blower door test. This course provides training on the RESNET Rater requirements, use of the REM/Rate software, mentors the two supervised ratings, and proctors the written exam

  Hands-On Segment - Training Completion for HERS Raters - Learn the operation of field testing equipment and REM/Rate software. Complete 2 training mentored Ratings. (For those who have passed the HERS Rater challenge exam)

  RESNET Field Inspector Classroom Training and Test - Learn field data collection techniques and requirements to perform RESNET Field Inspector services for a HERS Rater. Preparation course for the RESNET Field Inspector Test
